Terms & Refunds

01. The Service

The Neutral Hour provides paid sessions in which an advisor assigned by The Neutral Hour, either our founder or an independent contractor, gives their personal opinion as a neutral third party. It is not therapy, counseling, or professional advice.

02. No Professional Relationship

No attorney-client, doctor-patient, or therapist-client relationship is created. No legal privilege applies to any information shared during a session.

03. Eligibility

You must be 18 or older. Participation is voluntary. You alone are responsible for your decisions and the actions you take based on the opinion.

04. Confidentiality

Confidential by contract, except for disclosure under subpoena or court order, imminent risk of serious harm, or required by Tennessee law.

05. Recording

Every session is recorded, and an AI tool may transcribe and summarize it, for The Neutral Hour's records only. By booking, you and every other participant consent to this, and each participant will confirm verbally on the recording at the start of the session. Recording is required. There is no opt-out, and if any participant declines or withdraws consent, the session won't start or will end at that point. Cancellation and refund terms apply as if you had ended the session. Recordings, transcripts and notes are deleted within one year of the session date, unless the law, a court order, or a pending dispute requires keeping them longer. We don't delete them early on request. Recordings aren't privileged and could be subpoenaed. Participants may not make their own recording of a session without the prior written consent of The Neutral Hour and every other participant. Recordings are owned and kept by The Neutral Hour, not by the individual advisor. Unauthorized recording is a material breach, and we may end the session without a refund. See the Client Services Agreement, Section 8.

06. Two-Party Sessions

Your advisor is neutral and represents neither party. Either party may end the session. No legal-rights advice or drafting of agreements is provided.

07. Fees & Refunds

One free reschedule more than 24 hours ahead. No refund for cancellations within 24 hours or no-shows. Founding Hour clients get a full refund if they stop by minute 15.

08. Memberships

Member $180/month, Priority $350/month, Inner Circle $575/month. Automatic renewal until canceled. Unused sessions roll over one month, then expire.

09. Assumption of Risk

You assume the risks of acting or not acting on an opinion. Total liability is capped at fees paid in the prior 12 months.

10. Governing Law

Governing law is Tennessee. Courts serving Williamson County, Tennessee. Questions: hello@neutralhour.com

11. Electronic Signatures

Electronic signatures (E-SIGN) and Tennessee UETA apply. Severability: If any provision is held invalid, the remainder of the agreement remains in full force.
